He was predeceased by: his parents, Lowell Horner and Dorothy Nyberg Horner; his granddaughter Dacota; and his brother Dave. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Pate; his children, James Burton (Denise) of Lancaster, WI, Luisa Blumer (Brent) of Moline, IL and Angela Burton (Matt) of Cedar Rapids; and his siblings, Dan (Dawn) of New Castle, CO, Dean (Wendy) of Amana, IA and Dawn Edler (Kevin) of Wheatland. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
