He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Ernst and Shirley Ernst; his brothers, Danny and Andy Ernst; and his nephews, Alex and Isaac Griebel.
He is survived by: his siblings, Darrell Ernst (Cindy) of Bellevue, Marty Ernst (Dori) of Bellevue, Rick Ernst (Christina) of Bellevue, Jodi Till (Mike) of Dubuque and Kay Ann Griebel (Tim) of Dubuque. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
It is recommended to utilize masks during the visitation at the funeral home and at the funeral mass and that you practice social distancing due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
