She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert H. Horst and Elsie M. Horst (Johannsen); her grandson Nathan Simons; and her siblings, Evelyn Jensen (Walter), Harold Horst (Louise), Judy Paulsen (Don) and Bob Horst (Pat).

She is survived by: her children, Larry Simons (Kim) and Linda Alleva (Frank); and her grandchildren, Rachel Lively (Matt), Sarah Simons and Anthony Alleva (Nicole Russell).

A memorial fund has been established in Arlene's memory.
