He was predeceased by: his parents, Dominic Kilburg and Florence Kilburg (Weis); his wife Estelle Roling; his daughter Lydia Becwar; his great grandchild Chelsea; his sons-in-law, Vernon Medinger, Ron Samuel and Steve Miller; and his parents-in-law, Lloyd Kilburg (Monica), Earl Kilburg, Vernon Kilburg, Rita Roling (Raymond), Marcella "Sally" Banowetz (Paul), Vincent Kilburg, Albert Kilburg (Mary) and Edna Reuter (Michael).
He is survived by: his children, Al Kilburg (Mary), Ann Tuegel (Rick), Theresa Samuel, Paul Kilburg (Nancy), Velma Miller, Helen Kilburg, Nina Bahl (Matt), Anita Howell (Verl), Tim Kilburg (Lisa), Amy Dagitz (Mark) and Bill Kilburg (Rebecca); his son-in-law Scott Becwar (Michelle); his siblings, Kenneth Kilburg (Jean), Leo Kilburg (Janis), Vera Schmidt (Levi) and Dula Tebbe (Leon); and his sisters-in-law, Katie Kilburg and Judy Kilburg. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be directed to the Dubuque Community Foundation c/o Paul & Sally Banowetz Scholarship fund or Marquette High School.
