She was predeceased by: her parents, Matthew Michel and Julia Michel (Kilburg); her husband Arnold; her children, Harold Heiar and Mary Etta; her great grandchildren, Erika Schwager and Jacob Lucas Dunne; her sister Dolores Heiar; and also, Mary Jo Heiar and John Dunne.
She is survived by: her child Joanne Schwager (Donald) of New Liberty; and her siblings, Helen Zeimet, Marian Kloft, Bernadine Hartung, Donald Michel, Bernard "Bun" Michel (Darlene) and Carma Frank (Lloyd).
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Alverda's name.
