He was predeceased by: his siblings, Phyllis Cesari, Danna Hoxmeier and William Jaynes; his siblings-in-law, Ione Jaynes, Richard Rieckens and Ralph Cesari; and his nephew Paul Rieckens (Sandy Ploeger).
He is survived by: his siblings, Virginia Rieckens of Bradenton, Florida, Nancy Shileny (Arnold) of Bettendorf, Iowa and Lee Weber (Molly) of Dubuque, Iowa; and his brother-in-law Paul Hoxmeier (Noreen) of Bellevue. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
