He was predeceased by: his siblings, Norman Jr., Gerald McLaughlin, Myra Bosh and Catherine McLaughlin; and his parents, Norman McLaughlin and Ollie White McLaughlin.
He is survived by: his wife Rose; his children, Steven McLaughlin (Donna Anderson) of Cedar Rapids, Susan Underwood (Scot) of Cedar Rapids, Wayne McLaughlin Jr. of Dennison, Tamara Friedhof (Daryl) of Lakeside, Frank McLaughlin of Lenexa, KS and Chandra Younie (Matt) of Lakeside; his brother William McLaughlin of Monaca, PA; his pet Bowser; and his daughter-in-law Rose Thompson. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
