She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Krhounek and Tillie Krhounek (Valek); her husband Ben W. Kolars; her siblings, Matilda Kolars of Cuba, KS, Lillian Kolars of Linn, KS, Olive Popelka of Belle Plaine, IA and Adolph Krhounek of Elberon, IA; and her son-in-law Richard Cernin of Elberon.
She is survived by: her children, Larry (Jane) of Chelsea, Shirley Cernin of Elberon and Carl (Mary Jane) of Marshalltown, IA; her grandchildren, James, Michael Kolars (Stacey), Shelley Taylor (Scot), Deborah Cernin (Rick Mohrfeld), Matthew Cernin (Maria), Jennifer Rupp (Patrick), Benjamin Kolars (Christina), Todd Kolars (Misty) and Samuel Kolars (Kate); and her great grandchildren, Riley (Carl Busch), Blake, Mason, Darien Taylor, Logan, Cale Dvorak, Cooper, Charlie, Sophia Cernin, Stella, Lyla Rupp, Jakin, Savannah, Alisabeth, Lillian Kolars, Vanessa Schneider, Dallas Strasser, Titus, McKenna, Asher Kolars, Hannah, Caden Kolars, Lily and Olivia Krohn. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
