He is survived by: his children, Gary Holmes of South Elgin, Mark Holmes (Connie) of Williston, Duane Vavroch (Mary) of Jewell, Verna Bell (Randy) of Fountain, Diana Woznicki of Bartlett and Marilyn Sokol of Belle Plaine; and his sister-in-law Martha Holmes. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.
