She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Bennett and Anna Bennett (Iezek); her husband Maurice Van Hamme; her siblings, Dorothy Manatt, Ruth Ehlers, Betty Osborne and John Bennett; and her close friend Bob Hupfeld.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Van Hamme (Donna) of Belle Plaine, Robert Van Hamme (Dawn) of Tama and Annie Van Hamme of Toledo; and her grandchildren, Justin Van Hamme (April), Jared Van Hamme, Lisa Garling, Magan Landuyt (Michael), Leah Blegen (Josh), Josh Van Hamme (Jordan) and Nikki Goos (AJ). She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
