It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marjorie A O'Brien of Belle Plaine, Iowa, who passed away on January 23, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mark Thurm and Nina Thurm (Haigh); her husband Jack O'Brien; and her siblings, Patricia Grundmeyer and Steve Kendall.
She is survived by: her children, Mark O'Brien (Paula) of Elberon, Mike O'Brien (Tina) of Belle Plaine, Sherrie Schafbuch (Scott) of Victor, Susie Johnson (Drew) of Belle Plaine and Nancy Roth (John) of Luzerne; her brother Mark Thurm (Diane) of Marion; her grandchildren, Jessie, Steve Carl, Ryan, Sean (Tawny), Taylor Schafbuch, Jack (Paige), Molly (Ben Ehlen), Matt O'Brien (Allyson), Vince (Mariah), Spencer, Connor Roth, Tyler Chekal (Shelby), Zack Clement (Katelyn) and Makenzie O'Brien; her great grandchildren, Jake, Jaylee, Jace, Landon, Lauryn and Cayman; and her son Bruce Hinschberger. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws, friends.
Visitation is 4-7 p. m. Thursday, January 28th at Hrabak-Neuhaus Funeral Service, Belle Plaine with wake service at 7 p. m. Please be mindful of everyone's safety, respect social distancing and mask required.
