He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Daily and Jeannette Daily (Raymond); his significant other Kathyrn; and his siblings, Harold, Thomas and Shirley.

He is survived by: his children, Richard Daily of Belle Plaine, Kelly Hoerner Feller (Kurt) of Marion, Jean Coover (David) of Belle Plaine and Nicole Shen (Edgar) of Niceville, Florida.; and his grandchildren, Joshua Daily, Ross Pugh, Felicia Hoerner, Davis Coover, Danielle Stinson, Emily Clinton and Brigitte Shen.
