He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Ealy and Harold Ealy (Bus); his stepfather Leslie Brown; his brother Robert Ealy; and his parents-in-law, John Conway and Kay Conway.
He is survived by: his wife Karen; and his children, Christine Grismer (Tom), Patricia Ann Wells (David), Mary Wohl (Mark), Cathy Putney (Jim) and John Ealy. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews as well as 3 brother-in-laws and 2 sister-in-laws.
