She is survived by: her husband Gene Herring of Belle Plaine, IA; her children, James Byers, Amanda Brough (Richard) of Granby, CO and Barbara Shields (Billy) of Luzerne, IA; and her grandchildren, Bennett, Mary and Chris Shields.
