She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivar Ostby and Emelie Ostby (Qualey); her husband Andrew Ericson; her son Tom Diskerud; her daughter-in-law Lynn Haldy Gates; her sister Ione Cooskey; and her grandson Brian Cleppe.
She is survived by: her children, Ken Gates of Becker, MN, Audrey Cleppe of Cedar Rapids, IA, Gary Counter of Belle Plaine, IA and Bob Diskerud (Deb) of Owasso, OK; her brother Ivar "Ted" Ostby; and her nephew Jeff Counter. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
