David Bahr Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Bahr in Belle Plaine, Iowa, who passed away on October 29, 2024 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Bahr and Bethel Bahr (Heitman); his grandson Carter Claver; his brother Allen Bahr; his in-laws, Delbert and Leona Richards; and his brothers-in-law, Dennis, Robert and Ronald Richards.
He is survived by: his wife Deb; his children, Josh Bahr (Karry) of O'Fallon, Missouri, Brooke Chambers (Zack) of Chico, California, Sharis Bahr-Claver, Adam Bahr (Megan) and Jordan Bahr of Eddyville; his grandchildren, Isabella, Campbell Bahr, Van, Dane Chambers, Maeleigh, Garick Claver, Madison, Liam and Dayson Bahr; his siblings, Kenneth Bahr of Mt. Auburn and Valli Kendall (Pastor Mel) of Drakesville; and his friend Ben Nicks of Des Moines.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
Memorials may be directed to the family to be directed at a later date or to the Serenity Hospice House in Oskaloosa.
