He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph and Gladys Moody Sr. (Troxel); his brothers, Ralph Moody Jr. and Harry Burkey; and his brother-in-law John Fowler.
He is survived by: his children, Jay Moody of Vinton, Kelly Moody of Vinton and Kristin Sellers (David Roster); and his sister Bonnye Fowler of Marion.
