With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alma A Pech of Belle Plaine, Iowa, who passed away on December 9, 2021 at the age of 97. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Alma A Pech to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen J. Kozik and Theresa Kozik (Tracy Posekany); her husband James C. Pech; and her brothers, Bernard and Donald.
She is survived by: her children, Mary, Jane Balvanz (Tim), Gregory (Elizabeth) and Richard (Sandra); her grandchildren, Jeff Balvanz, San Juan, Puerto Rico, Pete Balvanz, Erin Balvanz, Lauren Porter (Dave), Lesley Jackson (Brandon), Joseph Pech and Matthew Pech; her great grandchildren, Pepper Porter, Dezmond, Jayden Jackson and Pippa Balvanz; and her brother Virgil. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Private family services are planned due to the Covid 19 pandemic, with a Celebration of Life possible at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to St. Michael Parish, Belle Plaine Senior Dining or the Belle Plaine Ambulance, all of which were important to Alma.
