He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Marshall and Fannie Marshall (Sleep); his mother-in-law Opal; his wife Donna Lee; his siblings, Harold, Frank (Bud), Robert, Herb and JoAnn; and his son-in-law Ron Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Allan Jr. (Deb Marshall Jr.), Michael Dean, Kathryn Ann, Robert Lee (Kathy Marshall), John William (Wendy Marshall) and Sandra Kay; his siblings, Martha Martin of Bolivar, Missouri and Jim (Dianna) of Oakland, Iowa; his children, Shirley Johnson, Rebecca Nielson, Mike Marshall Kathy Marshall (Sheryl Harrell) and Sandy (Tim Fenner); and his grandchildren, Corey, Rhonda, Melissa Johnson, Jason, Christopher Nielson, Gregg, Danny, Phillip Marshall, Kimberly Marshall Berry, Kaylee Sommay, Emily, Jessica, Allison Marshall, Sheena McCartney, Zach Marshall, Josh, Jenny (Makis) and Marshall Fenner. He is also survived by Numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Walker-Merrick-Billings Funeral Chapel (422 E Washington St, Clarinda, IA 51632).
