He is survived by: his daughters, Elicia Ropte (David) of Des Moines, Iowa and Heather King of Des Moines, Iowa; his stepchildren, Cynthia Leota (Talu) of Port Orchard and Charles Schwake (Cara) of Hampton, Iowa; his grandchildren, Benjamin and Catherine; and his stepgrandchildren, Jeremiah, Anthony, Gracie, Noah, Symon and Isaac.
