He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Florence; his parents, William Lester and Netha McKay (Akers); his siblings, Shirley Wilmeth, Rosalee Bolinger Bailey, Leota Collins and Roland McKay; his siblings-in-law, Claudia Huntington, Shirley Berniece'Bea'Boswell Huntington, Dorothy Huntington, Jean Huntington, Lewis Huntington, Burdette Huntington, Weldon Bolinger and Glen Wilmeth; and his grandson Duane Nordeen, Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Nancy Current of Newport News, Virginia, Roy McKay (Debbie Cooney) of Ames Iowa, Martha Wood (Dixon) of Urbandale and Donna Peterson (Joe) of Bedford, Iowa; and his siblings-in-law, Rochelle McKay of Fort Dodge Iowa, Reldon Huntington of Lenox and Glen Huntington of Waukee, Iowa. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
