It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Ruth Adelmund (Beaman, Iowa), born in Stout, Iowa, who passed away on May 26, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Verb Syhlman and Edna Syhlman (Bolhuis); her husband Jake Adelmund; and her siblings, Tena Benning, Fred Syhlman and Vernice Valentine (Melvin).
She is survived by: her sons, Kendall Adelmund (Melody) of Wellsburg and Randy Adelmund of Conrad; and her siblings, Wilma Adelmund (George) of Gladbrook and Lourine Pruis (Marlyn) of Grundy Center. She is also survived by two grandchildren, four step grandchildren and several step great grandchildren.
