We bid farewell to Lavina Mae Clipperton of Bayard, Iowa, born in Jefferson, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 10, 2024 at the age of 98. Lavina touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Imler and Theo Imler (Orin); her husband Dean Clipperton; her children, Jerri Fitzsimmons, Patricia Clipperton, Gary and Larry Clipperton; her children-in-law, Dathel Clipperton, Don Esslinger and Dick Andersen; her grandsons, Ryan Clipperton and Cameron Millard; her great grandchildren, Brianna Esslinger and Shannon Riddle; and her siblings, Charlotte Shields, Larry Imler, Mary Imler, Donald Imler, Butch Imler, Coletta Garcia, Raetta Kopaska, Jerry Imler, Norma Laguercio and Coleen Jensen.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Esslinger, Elaine Andersen, Debbie Gustoff (Ron), Randy Clipperton (Sandy) and Cindy Monthei (Randy); and her sister Carolyn Bowle. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren.
