She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Shoesmith and Ruby Shoesmith (Warner); her husband Ward McClellan Jr.; and her brother Richard Shoesmith. She is survived by: her children, Debbie (Steve Pope) of Des Moines, Patricia (David Bognanno) of Overland Park, Kansas, Mike McClellan (Teresa) of Bayard and Scott McClellan (Teresa) of Bayard; her siblings, Donnie Shoesmith (Debbie) of Stuart and Jerry Kirfman (Cliff) of Richmond Hills, Texas; and her sisters-in-law, Anna Moylan of Omaha and Helen Ann Shoesmith of Stuart. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
