He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Butler and Florence Butler (Crawford); and his brothers, Gale and JD Butler. He is survived by: his wife Linda Luing; his children, Maria Head (Kenny) of Earlham, IA, Carmen Holcomb (Kevin) of Des Moines, IA and Christina Kaisand of Ankeny, IA; his grandchildren, Kelsey, Ryan Head, Morgan Smith (Austin), Kyle Holcomb, Taylor Lindley and Kylee Kaisand; his great grandchildren, Layla Coe-Holcomb, Nolan and Adrianna Smith; and his sister Sharie McDermott. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Baxter Hometown Pride for a memorial bench to be placed in Geise Park in honor of Reid.
