It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kurt Brunner of Baxter, Iowa, who passed away on September 30, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilhelm Brunner and Hedwig Brunner (Meier); his son Walter; his grandson Lincoln Garton; his siblings, Hans, Walter Brunner (Crystal) and Lille Rode; and his sister-in-law Erika Krampe (Armin).
He is survived by: his wife Gisela Suffel; his children, Uwe Brunner (Cindy), Tonya Brunner, Angela Lust (Randy), Andrea Garton (Chris) and Anita Smith (Jeff); his grandchildren, Malena Billups (Nate), Nicholas Brunner (Jill), Easton Brunner, Brandon Brunner, Mercedes Brunner, Andrew Hopkins, Brice Hopkins, Derek McDermott (Heaven), Daniel McDermott (Maricruz), Seth Garton (Megan), Chelsea Fox (Dustin), Stefan Garton, Deven Smith (Taylor), Erin Suntken (Zach) and Ryan Smith; his sisters, Katie Lewis and Hilla Kother; and his brother-in-law Herbert Suffel (Paulette).
