She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Bittner and Mamie Bittner (Van Gorp); her husband Melvin Montgomery of Newton, IA; her daughters, Christie Milligan (Mark) of Baxter, IA and Marsha Strickland (Rick) of Baxter, IA; her grandchildren, Ashley Jensen (Brent), Brandon Milligan (Megan), Kristi Padgett (Scott), Kip Strickland (Tiffany), Travis Schmidt (Alicia) and Troy Schmidt (Angela); her sister Edna Upchurch (Steve) of South Carolina; and her brothers-in-law, Robert Montgomery (Diane) of Colorado and Richard Montgomery (Sue) of Arizona.
