He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Cool and Ida Mae Cool (Vansice); his brother Fred Cool; and his grandson Grant. He is survived by: his spouse Karen Skoog; his children, Paula Thompson (Zane) of Newton, IA and Brian Cool (Danielle) of Leawood, KS; and his grandchildren, Trista, Trent Thompson, Caroline, Madelyn and Harrison Cool. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and close friends.
