He was predeceased by: his parents, August and Sarah Dee (Klein); his wife Shirley Dee; his son Douglas Dee; and his siblings, Everett, Ivan, Vernon, Harold, Glenn, Lloyd Dee and Lorene Sabin.
He is survived by: his children, Bruce Dee (Marsha) of Naples and Michele "Shelly" Mangels of Altoona; his grandchildren, Christine Reyes (Joe) of Fort Myers, Kelly Dee (Meredith) of Naples, Mackenzie Burke (Brandon) of Irving and Joseph Mangels of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and his great grandchildren, Ryan, Haley and Cassidy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
