He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Arthur and Margaret Sales (Rief); his wife Helen Sales; his siblings, Kenneth Sales, Ina Maxwell, Waunitta Kinning, Margaret "Midge" Austin, Kathern "Katie" Kessler and LaVohn "Bonnie" Tietsort; his grandson Lynn Ott; his great grandchildren, Lindsey Quirk, Smith and Wesson Blackmore; his son-in-law Richard Meier; his brothers-in-law, Orman Kinning, Duane Maxwell, Lyle Tietsort and Harold Austin; and his nephews, Ivan "Butch" Kinning and Larry "Joe" Maxwell.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jeannette Ott (Richard), Barbara Meier, Diane Castle (Tom), Charlotte Uhl (Bill) and Karen "Corky" Blackmore; his grandchildren, Kevin Ott, Susan Carver (Calvin), Sandra Allen (Bill), Sherri Anderson (Kel), Shelli Dannenberg (Jason), Michael Meier (Heidi), Adam Castle (Randi), Jeana Todd (Layne), Matthew Castle (Sandy), Sarah Gitlan (Micah), Lori Roeder (Darrin), Lisa Quirk (Bryan), Sean Blackmore (Tamie) and Shannon Blackmore (Jenny); and his son-in-law Darwin Blackmore. He is also survived by 32 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the governor's proclamation, masks are mandatory and social distancing guidelines apply during all services.
