Lara Bakos Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 19, 2025, at the age of 54, Lara Bakos of Battle Creek, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James A. Michels and Jane L. Michels (Mensing); and her nephew AJ Michels. She is survived by: her husband Scott Bakos of Battle Creek, Iowa; her children, Andrew (Brittany Bakos) of Elk Mound, WI and Brittany (Steven Spurling) of Hills, MN; and her siblings, TJ Michels, Christina (Jeff Peterson) and Jennifer (Ryan Wadsworth). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lamb Funeral Home (101 SE 4th St, Greenfield, IA 50849). A prayer was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Greenfield Cemetery (2493 IA-25, Greenfield, IA 50849).
