He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia Belle Hanshaw (McGlasson) and Wilbur Hanshaw; his children, Kenneth Logan and Kelli Ann; and his brothers, Gerald "Gerry" and Tom Hanshaw.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Liz" Hanshaw of Battle Creek, IA; his son Steve Hanshaw (Tanya); his grandchildren, Noah, Faith and Grace; his stepdaughter Michelle Volkert (Dan); his stepgrandchildren, Jordain, Cody, Levi and Jason Schiernbeck (Angie); his siblings, Larry Hanshaw (Pam) of Grimes, IA, Leonard "Lenny" Hanshaw (Joy) of Chesapeake, VA and Linda Livesay (George) of Picayune, MS.; and also, Dawson, Chace, Brody and Shannon Schiernbeck of Battle Creek, IA.
