He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Vohs and Viola Vohs (Stofferahn); his brothers, Will, Wilbert Vohs and Glenn; and his siblings-in-law, Martha Vohs, David Jensen, Vernon Jensen and Katherine Palmer.

He is survived by: his wife Helen Jensen; his nephews, Kenneth Vohs of Hopkins, Rodney Vohs of Round Rock and Greg Vohs of Medford, Minnesota; his niece Cynthia Maaske (William) of Woodbine, Iowa; and his sister-in-law Frieda Vohs of Holstein, Iowa..
