He was predeceased by: his parent Clara Agnes Barnhart; his wife Donna Cavin; his parent Clara Agnes Swihart of Batavia; his son Larry D. Wilson, Jr.; and his siblings, Matthew Christopher, Cheryl Smith, Rita Mantz and Tony Shields.

He is survived by: his former wife Dixie O'Brien; his daughters, Brooklyn and Denise Wilson of Pella; and his siblings, Joyce Perkins (Bob) of Batavia, Teena Roush of Newton and Bill Shields of Fairfield. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
