She was predeceased by: her brother Michael. She is survived by: her husband J. "Rex" Barker; her children, Ted Hall, Lisa Albaladejo (Miguel) and Jay Hall (Jennifer); her stepchildren, Gloria and Larry; and her grandchildren, Briar, Brittany, Kai and Marley. She is also survived by 3 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made in Joann's name to the Service Club for the Blind, Inc., 3719 Watson Road, St. Louis, MO 63109-1236.
