It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herbert Burnett (Batavia, Iowa), born in Jefferson, Iowa, who passed away on August 11, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Burnett and Mary Burnett; his son Robert Burnett; his granddaughter Cassie Snead; his great grandchild Derek Robinson; and his siblings, Martha, Robert Burnett and Margery Mankins.
He is survived by: his children, Marcia Snead (Calvin) and Steve Burnett (Jill); his grandchildren, Mike Burnett (Shelly), Michelle Burnett, Carrie Engle (Eric), Callie Snead, Sydney, Colton and Blake Burnett; his great grandchildren, David, Dagan Burnett, Kaitlyn, Jaron, Jacen Blomme, Cole and Coty Engle; and his daughter-in-law Ann Burnett. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
