With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bonnie Lou Waller Overturf of Batavia, Iowa, born in Eldon, Iowa, who passed away on August 15, 2021 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cleo Davis and Wilma Durham Davis; her former husband Carl Waller; and her sisters, Carol Liles, Jeanne Brimmer, Maxine Liles, Ethel Mae Liles and Shirley Stacey.
She is survived by: her husband Emmett Overturf of Ottumwa, IA; her daughters, Carla Curtis (Ron) of Granger, IA and Lisa Thorne (Rod) of Ottuwma, IA; her grandchildren, Nick Curtis, Tanner Thorne and Logan Thorne (Stephanie); her great grandchildren, Carson and Barrett Thorne; her brothers, Gaylord Davis (Barb), Bob Davis (Marcia) and Raymond Davis (Jane); and her stepsons, Mike Overturf (Lee) of Norwalk, IA and Steve Overturf (Merilee) of Drakesville, IA.
Memorial contributions in Bonnie's honor may be made to the family to be used to support local Eldon organizations.
