He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd William Ewing and LaVona Mary Ewing (Jones); his wife Donna Jean Klinger; his sons, Bret and Kelly; and his sisters, Barb Wolff and Shirley Donahue.
He is survived by: his children, Bart Ewing (Julie) of New Sharon, IA and Tammy Stockdale (Russ) of Barnes City, IA; his grandchildren, BJ Ewing (Kristie), Brian Ewing, Brady Ewing, Kory Stockdale (LeAnan) and Kayla Emerson (Nathan); his great grandchildren, Caleb, Xander, Kahlani, Lauren, Landon, Addison, Hailey, Baylee and Carson; and his siblings, David Ewing of Deep River, IA and Nancy Steburg of Puyallup, WA.
