He is survived by: his wife Marilyn of Bancroft; his children, William P Bernhard of Algona, Nick Bernhard of Lawler, Dr. Theresa Hamilton (Leo) of Algona, Charles Bernhard (Adriana) of Ames, Dr. Maria Krahn (Tim) of Memphis, TN, Nancy Renger (Jeremy) and Michael Bernhard of Tempe, AZ; his grandchildren, Nicholas Bernhard, Amanda, Rachel Witham (Austin), Leah, Matthew, Andrew, David Hamilton, Gregorius, Katrina Bernhard, Alexis Kollasch, Catherine, Christopher Krahn, Bailey, Hannah and Jonathan Renger; and his siblings, Dave Bernhard (Darlene) of Algona and Mary Goche (William) of Fairmont, MN..
