Vernon W. Haag Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon W. Haag of Bancroft, Iowa, who passed away on March 16, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother Buck; his parents, Cyril Haag and Catherine Haag (Boever); his siblings, Mary Ann Reilly (Haag), Rita Schmalen (Haag), Frank, Margaret Haag and Lyle Haag; his wife Florence Haag (Naylor); his daughter Monica; and his in-laws, Claude, Bernice Haag, Bill, Colette Schneider (Haag), Dr. Willard, Pearl Irmiter (Haag), Fred, Ruth Arcand (Haag), Sister Blanche, Melbourne, Ann Haag, Ralph, Darlene Cayler (Haag), Harold, Isabelle Hatten (Haag), Merlyn Haag, Bernard Reilly, Mildred Haag, Arthur Putze and Edward Schmalen.
He is survived by: his daughter Jackie McMahon (Len) of Crystal, MN; his grandsons, Dr. Luke McMahon (Holly) of Prior Lake, MN and Scott McMahon (Sam) of Columbia Heights, MN; and his great grandchildren, Drew, Connor, Collins McMahon, Norah and Henry McMahon. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials will be directed to Accura Healthcare of Bancroft and to the Ledyard FBA (Farm & Business Association).
