LaVon M. Schiltz Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 16, 2025, at the age of 81, LaVon M. Schiltz (Bancroft, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Thompson and Julia Thompson (Long); her siblings, Willard Thompson (Marilyn) and Carol Elsbecker (Jim); her parents-in-law, Art and Lucille Schiltz; and her siblings-in-law, Jack Schiltz, Jim Schiltz, Kevin Killoran and Beryl Schiltz (Scott).
She is survived by: her husband Gary Schiltz of Nevada, IA; her children, LaNette Janzen (Jon) of Fairmont, MN, Kathy Bartz (Kevin) of Truman, MN and Mark Schiltz (Alicia) of Story City, IA; her grandchildren, Sarah Bartz (Briar Rowley), Jamie Anderson (Brady), Michael Schiltz, Zachary Schiltz and Amanda Schiltz; her great grandchild Julia Mae Anderson; and her siblings-in-law, Tom Schiltz (Bobbie), Dick Schiltz (Toni), Mary Schiltz, Jane Killoran, Pat Kayser (Mike) and Carmen Schiltz. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John's Catholic Cemetery (1202 360th St, Bancroft, IA 50517).
