Duane G. McCleish Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 15, 2021, at the age of 78, Duane G. McCleish (Bancroft, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn McCleish and Martha McCleish (Mescher); his siblings, Mary Jane and Dennis McCleish (Meredith); his niece Becky Reilly; and his brother-in-law Tom "Doc" Lensing.
He is survived by: his wife Kay McCleish of Streamwood, IL; his children, Bruce McCleish (Janet), Lanette Vesper (Keith) of Streamwood, IL and Julie Thornton (Michael Garcia) of Elgin, IL; his grandchildren, Michael McCleish of Barrington, IL, Kelley McCleish, Lance Vesper (Raeanne) of Littleton, CO, Andrew Vesper of Denver, CO, Cole Thornton of Elgin, IL, Mikaela of Hanover Park, IL and Samantha Garcia of Hanover Park, IL; his great grandchild Gabrielle McCleish; and his sister-in-law Marilyn Lensing of Algona. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Social distancing practices will be followed and masks are required at both the visitation and the funeral Mass.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Duane's memory may be directed to St. Jude Children's Hospital in care of his family.
