He was predeceased by: his parents, Roman Ricke and Eunice Ricke (Studer); his siblings, Mary (Olberding), Ethel, Jim and Steven; and his brothers-in-law, Leo Leonelli, Ray Olberding, Darrell Nemmers and Chuck Ingalls Sr..

He is survived by: his sister Ruth of Seal Beach, CA; and his sister-in-law Helen of Bancroft. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
