He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Lappe and Matilda Lappe; his son Michael Lappe; and his sister Barbara McGuire (Marty). He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Priester; his children, Scott Lappe of Topeka, KS, Cynthia Scott (Wayne) of Olsburg, KS and Christopher Lappe of Port Charlotte, FL; his grandsons, Jaxson and Quentin Lappe; and his siblings, Robert Lappe (Luella) of Lake Mills, Duane Lappe (Penny) of Leland and Diane Hutchison (Jim) of Overton, AZ. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials will be directed to North Iowa Hospice, in memory of Don.
