David Wayne Hunter Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Wayne Hunter of Bancroft, Iowa, who passed away on December 20, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernard E. Hunter and Joy M. Hunter (Wilkin); his brother Jim Hunter; and his father-in-law Kenneth Neuharth. He is survived by: his wife Ranae Hunter; his children, Nicholas Hunter, Nicole Kuisle (Josh), Mercedes Hatfield (Alex), Matthew Larsen (Melissa) and Michael Larsen (Courtney); his grandchildren, Kian, Kolan, Kaylin, Raylan, Charlie Jo, Parker, Ryker and Lyam; and his siblings, Gary Hunter, Virginia Clark, Carolyn Ross and Karen Hunter. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, in-laws, extended family.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lakeview Funeral Home (205 Albion Ave, Fairmont, MN 56031).

The family requests that memorials be made in David's name to the Wounded Warrior Project.
