She was predeceased by: her husband Lamont M. Jansen of John's Catholic Cemetery; her parents, Albert Deitering and Agnes Deitering (Kollasch); her parents-in-law, Andrew and Johanna Jansen; her siblings, Donna (Rich Olson) and Richard Deitering; her siblings-in-law, Gail Person and Geraldine (Arnie Karels); and her nephew David Person.
She is survived by: her children, Tom Jansen (Mary) of Bancroft, Suzanne Burton (Ron) of Cosby, TN, Jerry Jansen of Tyler, TX and Greg Jansen (Laurie) of Malcom; her grandson Andy Jansen (Amy); her great grandchildren, Jordan, Jackson and Jace; her grandson Jacob Burton; her great grandchild Izabelle; her grandchildren, Amanda Jowers (Daniel) and Ben Burton (Nicole); her great grandchildren, Zoey, Kinnick, Maleiyah, Annabella, Brandon Jansen, Lori Rice (Keith), Tommy Jansen (Magan), Sarah Jansen, Tanner Jansen (Lexi) and Maddie Jansen (Colton Major); her siblings, Tom Deitering (Esther) of Bancroft and Janet Person of Durango, CO; her sister-in-law Jan Deitering of Bancroft; and also, Joshua, Kaitlyn, K. J., Malachi, Kayden, Carly, Cole and Sydney. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made the Darlene Jansen Memorial Fund, in which her family will direct those donations to her various local organizations for the betterment of Bancroft.
