He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Phil Bernhard, Rojeanne and Paul Westerlund; and his cousins, Ashley Boyle and Jessica Monson.
He is survived by: his parents, John Bernhard and Paula Bernhard (Westerlund); his brothers, Cody Bernhard of Bancroft, Dillon Bernhard (Nick Veron) of Philadelphia, Eric Burt of Des Moines and Heath Bernhard (Taylor Richardson); his brother Blake Zwiefel of Fort Dodge; his grandparents, Pat Bernhard of Bancroft, Gordon and Connie Burt of Fenton; and also Riley of Swea City.
