He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Sommer; and his children, Jessica Williams (Chris) of Rochester, Josh Schild (Jennifer) of Eagle Grove, Jonathan Schild of St. Cloud, Jacob Schild (Jesica) of Fort Dodge, Julie Amend (Eric) of Vincent, Jordan Schild of Ayrshire, Jenna Schild of Estherville, Justin Schild (Hallie) of Fort Dodge and Josie Schild of Badger. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren.
