He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Johnson and Charlotte Johnson (Hovick); and his sister Ardis Larson. He is survived by: his wife Gladys Licht; his children, Laurie Miller (Bill) of Winterset, Jeff Johnson (Rhonda) of Story City and Diane Martin (Doug) of Fort Dodge; his grandchildren, Rachel Behrens (Jes), Kristin Dunphy (Adam), Jenn Belling (Tyler), Tanner, Teagan, Tessa, Tayte Johnson, Nick Shaw and Tristan Shaw; and his great grandchildren, Farrah, Brody, Colt, Jaxon and Bowen.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be left to St. Paul Lutheran Church and School.
