He is survived by: his wife Fern Ricklefs of Ayrshire, Iowa; his children, Gary, Deb Rouse of Curlew, Timothy, Cheryl Rouse of Curlew and Angela Rouse of Ames, Iowa; his grandchildren, Nick (Angie Rouse), Christie Peters of Emmetsburg, Kyle (Jamie Rouse), Amanda (Ryan Gerardy) and Erin (Brian O'Donnell); his great grandchildren, Cale, Mallory Peters, Addison Rouse, Lauren, Miles, Isaac, Nathan, Annie Jo Rouse, Autumn and Claire Gerardy; his sisters-in-law, Doris Rouse of Spirit Lake, Darlene Allen of Ruthven and Pat Ricklefs of Globe, Arizona; and his close friend Sadie.
